User Guide for Telegram Bot @InstaSpyProBot

What the bot can do

The Telegram bot helps users download publicly available Instagram* content and receive new publications through subscriptions to selected profiles.

Supported features include:

posts;
reels;
long-form videos (IGTV) through the profile menu;
current stories;
story highlights;
captions with the publication text, author name, source link, and publication date;
albums containing several files;
favorite profiles;
request history with the option to repeat a download;
subscriptions to public Instagram profiles with content filters;
instant delivery of new publications or a daily digest;
personal delivery settings.

The Telegram bot does not require your Instagram username, password, or session data. Send only a username or a link to publicly available content.

Getting started

Open the Telegram bot @InstaSpyProBot.
Press /start.
Send one of the following:

an Instagram username;
a profile link;
a post link;
a reel link;
a current story link;
a highlight link.

Supported formats

The Telegram bot accepts:

If the link or username is invalid, the Telegram bot will ask you to send the data again.

How to download content

1. Download by username or profile link

Send a username or a profile link. The Telegram bot will then show a profile menu. It usually contains:

Posts;
Reels;
Long-form videos (IGTV);
Stories;
Subscribe.

For some profiles, additional actions are also available, including adding the profile to favorites and opening an already configured subscription.

2. Download a post or reel using a direct link

Simply send the publication link. If the publication is publicly available, the Telegram bot will download the media and send it to Telegram.

3. Download stories

There are two ways to do it:

send a direct link to a current story;
open the user profile and then the Stories section.

Inside the Stories section, the following are available:

current stories;
highlights.

4. Download highlights

Open the user profile, go to the Stories section, and select a highlight. The Telegram bot will show the list of available highlights so you can download the one you need.

5. Download long-form videos

Long-form videos (IGTV) are available through the profile menu. If the user has such content, the Telegram bot will show it in the corresponding section.

How the Telegram bot sends results

Depending on the type of content, the Telegram bot may:

send a single file;
send several files as an album;
send the caption as a separate message;
send media as a file without compression if this is enabled in user settings.

The caption may include:

the publication text;
the author name;
a link to the original item;
the publication date.

Favorites and request history

If you regularly return to the same profiles, use favorites:

open the profile in the Telegram bot;
add it to favorites;
open the list through /favorites or the Favorites button.

The Telegram bot also stores request history:

the list is available through /history or the History button;
you can repeat a previous download in one step;
history helps you quickly return to recent profiles, publications, stories, and highlights.

Subscriptions to Instagram profiles

If you want to receive new publications automatically:

open the required profile in the Telegram bot;
press Subscribe;
adjust the subscription settings if needed;
the Telegram bot will start checking for new publications periodically.

For a subscription, you can choose:

all publications;
posts only;
reels only;
stories only.

You can also choose the delivery mode:

immediately after new content appears;
as a daily digest.

Important:

a one-time download does not subscribe you automatically;
the Telegram bot tries not to send duplicates;
the available subscription limit depends on your current plan.

You can review or cancel active subscriptions through:

/subscriptions;
the My subscriptions button.

Limits and plans

The Telegram bot has a free mode and paid plans.

In free mode, the following may apply:

a daily download limit;
a limit on tracked Instagram profiles.

You can check the current limits and access status:

in the Limits menu;
through /limits;
in Telegram bot messages after a download;
in the payment section /billing.

Settings

The /settings section allows you to:

switch the language;
choose a time zone;
enable sending media as files;
disable captions.

If you prefer media without text or without previews, configure this once in the Telegram bot and the settings will be saved in your user profile.

Billing

The /billing section shows:

available plans;
your subscription status;
available payment methods;
renewal actions;
a trial period, if it is available for your account.

The Telegram bot may support payment through Telegram Stars and other methods shown in the interface at the time of payment.

After a successful payment, the Telegram bot activates the selected plan and updates the limits according to the chosen conditions.

If something does not work

Please check:

that the profile or publication is publicly available;
that the link is complete;
that the story has not expired yet;
that you have not reached your limit;
that the target profile has not become private.

Important notes

The Telegram bot is intended to work only with publicly available content.
Content availability depends on Instagram and on the profile owner.
If a publication has been deleted, a highlight has been hidden, or a profile has become private, the Telegram bot cannot guarantee downloading.
Use the received content lawfully and with respect for the rights of copyright holders.
